This painting never wanted to become quiet.
Even after I softened parts of it, the energy remained. Some areas pull together while others seem to drift away.
What I like is that it feels both strong and vulnerable. It does not explain itself or come to a neat conclusion. It holds on to something intense—something still present, even though it can no longer be named.
