Where Silence Takes Root explores the subtle tension between emergence and concealment. Layers of pale green, grey, and white drift across the surface, interrupted by fragments of drawing, traces of colour, and fleeting marks that appear and recede. Rather than focusing on a single event, the painting unfolds gradually, inviting attention to small shifts, quiet relationships, and the spaces between gestures. Part of the ongoing series Rhythms of the Unspoken, it reflects an interest in what remains unresolved, remembered, or only partially revealed.
