Soft veils of white and grey surround a concentrated field of marks that seems to have settled after repeated adjustments. The painting moves between openness and density, allowing fragments of earlier layers to remain visible without resolving into certainty. It invites sustained looking, where relationships emerge gradually rather than all at once.

Created as part of my ongoing studio practice, this independent artwork reflects a process of layering, revision and decision-making in which each gesture responds to what came before.
