A concentrated passage of black, orange and muted green emerges within a softly layered field of pale pinks, greys and whites. Energetic gestures are balanced by areas of partial erasure, allowing fragments of earlier decisions to remain visible across the surface. The work explores the moment when movement begins to settle into a temporary and intuitive order.
Created as part of my ongoing studio practice, this independent artwork reflects a process of layering, revision and decision-making in which each gesture responds to what came before.
