Dense clusters of marks emerge from a spacious field of pale layers. Built through an intuitive process of adding, removing and rediscovering forms, the work explores the balance between structure and openness.

Created as part of my ongoing studio practice, this independent artwork reflects a process of layering, revision and decision-making in which each gesture responds to what came before.
